Our first meeting January 27th 2020 6-8PM at ImpactHub HNL is kicking off in style with none other than the Def Con Groups Ambassador Jayson E. Street (Twitter: @jaysonstreet.)
From Jayson’s bio:
Jayson E. Street is an author of the “Dissecting the hack: Series”. Also the DEF CON Groups Global Ambassador. Plus the VP of InfoSec for SphereNY. He has also spoken at DEF CON, DerbyCon, GRRCon, and at several other ‘CONs and colleges on a variety of Information Security subjects.
Jayson will provide first-person perspective on hacking, hackers, and how to BE one. He has immense depth and breadth of experience in the field and will share insights that can only be provided by those that live that life. Make sure to come loaded with questions - you’ll get straight, unvarnished answers. Whether you’re a student curious about this whole ‘hacker’ thing, already involved in infosec and want to expand, or a jaded, grizzled-greybeard operator, Jayson will have something for you.
Beyond Jayson’s talk, you’ll also have the opportunity to talk story with others in the infosec community here in Hawaii. There’s a lot going on and we want you to be part of it!
